Mr Meersschaert joined Bank DiMare as non-executive director in 2012.
He started his career as CPA at Deloitte, an international public accounting firm.
He subsequently held senior finance positions with international companies for over 15 years, including Watts Industries Europe, MoTip Dupli Group and Doorwin. As of January 1, 2006, Mr. Meersschaert is a partner of Ramphastos Investments, a Dutch private equity investor. Ramphastos is the majority shareholder of Bank DiMare.
