Marthese is Chief Technology Officer at AX Group, responsible for leading the company’s information technology strategy and operations. With over two decades of experience in executive IT roles, Marthese has a proven track record of driving digital transformation, aligning technology with business objectives, and delivering innovative solutions that support organizational growth.
Prior to joining AX Group, Marthese held senior positions in risk and compliance consulting, advisory services, and IT management across multiple sectors including financial services, hospitality, and public sector. Marthese’s expertise spans IT strategy, cyber security, compliance, business process improvement, and large-scale system integration.
Marthese holds an MSc in Information Management from Lancaster University and an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta, complemented by certifications in sustainability management, information systems auditing, ISO27001, GDPR, and agile methodologies.
