Mr. Hutko began his career at First USA Bank in Wilmington, Delaware, which is now part of Chase Bank.
He gained a solid background in the financial services industry by holding various senior positions at The Associates in Texas, which is now part of Citigroup.
He joined Barclays in 2001 — first as Credit Risk Director in the UK Credit Card division (Barclaycard), and later as Director of Customer Value Management within the International Credit Card unit.
In 2007, Michael moved to Vanquis Bank as Commercial Director, contributing to the bank's exponential growth.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
