Mr Huber had a career spanning over 40 years with the Central Bank of Malta holding several senior positions including the post of Director of Finance and Banking, responsible also for Payment Systems and Currency Issue.
He represented the Central Bank on various Eurosystem Committees.
Since his retirement from the Bank in 2010 he has held a number of board appointments with professional investor funds and financial institutions.
